THE BOARD OF FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSION
OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
HELD ON November 25, 1991
Acting Chairman Alan J. Shapiro, DDS called the meeting to order at
8:05 p.m. in the Municipal Building, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove
Village, and noted for the record that the following were present: H.
Robert Goldsmith.
It was moved by Mr. Goldsmith and seconded by Mr. Goldsmith that the
minutes of October 28, 1991 be approved as submitted and that the Board
dispense with the reading thereof. The motion was voted upon by
acclamation; whereupon the Chairman declared the motion carried.

It was moved by H. Robert Goldsmith and seconded by same that the
Board authorize the disbursement of funds for payment. The motion
was voted upon by acclamation; whereupon the Chairman declared the
motion carried.

NEW BUSINESS
A letter of resignation was received from Officer Anthony D.
Martin, Jr. on October 25, 1991 effective same date.
Letters of Written Reprimand was received from the Chief of Police
on Police Officers Mathew FioRito, Michael McGreal and Kevin
Roeske.
A letter was sent to Scott R. Kuschel from Attorney Peter A.
Felice in response to why Mr. Kuschel failed to meet qualifications
of the medical requirements for the Village.
The Commissioners meet with six month probationary employees
Firefighters Arthur M. Blackaller and Michael J. Keenan.
Also, with one year probationary employees Firefighters Moncia
L. Ciccone and Howard S. Hall . Firefighter Peter J. Gutzmer fail to
show for the review, but did show later.
Chief Engelbrecht sent information about the Municipal Police
Register, did the Commissioners want to discuss this information with
him. This will be held for discussion at a later day.
Adjournment
It was moved by Acting Chairman Shapiro and seconded by H.
Robert Goldsmith that the meeting be adjourned. The motion was voted
upon by acclamation; whereupon the Chairman declared the motion carried
and the meeting adjourned at 12:45 a.m.
