November 9, 1992
Fire & Police Commissioners:
Gayle B. Bantner, Chairman
Alan J. Shapiro, Secretary
Police Candidates:
Frank J. Vrchota
Patrick C. Hayes
The Commissioners named above met at the Elk Grove Village Hall , 901
Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village, Illinois for the purpose of
holding oral interviews for a position in the Elk Grove Police
Department for the last two eligible candidates on the Eligibility List.
The first interview was held at 7:30 p.m. with Frank J. Vrchota. Mr.
Vrchota pass the oral and was offered position with the Police
Department pending the passing of his medical exam.
The second interview was held at 8:05 p.m. with Patrick C. Hayes. Mr.
Hayes pass the oral and was informed that the Police Department only
had one opening at this time, which they had just filled, but would be
notified of the next opening. Mr. Hayes advised the Commissioners that
he was on several other departments eligibility list and if he accepts
a position with any of departments he would notify this office.
Interviews were completed by 8:40 p.m.
Meeting adjourned.
Next regular meeting scheduled for November 23, 1992.
