THE BOARD OF FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSIONERS
OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
HELD ON April 7 , 1993
Chairman Gayle B. Bantner called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in
the Municipal Building, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village, and
noted for the record that the following were present: Alan J. Shapiro,
DDS and H. Robert Goldsmith.
This meeting was called for the purpose of reviewing one six math
probationary firefighter and two oral interviews with the next two
Firefighter candidates to fill one position in the Fire Department to
start with the Village on May 10, 1993
The probationary interview was held at 8:10 p.m. with Firefighter
Michael Sharp.
The two oral interviews were held for:
John Kelly 8:30 p.m.
William Knipp 9:00 p.m.
John Nelly pass the oral interview and was offered the position as
Firefighter pending medical exam, which will be scheduled.
William Knipp pass the oral interview and will advance to the number
one position on the Firefighters Eligibility List.
Next regular Board meeting scheduled for 8:00 p.m, April 26, 1993.
Adjournment
It was moved by Chairman Bantner and seconded by Alan J. Shapiro,
DDS that the meeting be adjourned. The motion was voted upon by
acclamation; whereupon the Chairman declared the motion carried and the
meeting adjourned at 11:00 p.m.
