The Fire and Police Commissioners held Second Interviews with
Firefighter Candidates in the Charles J. Zettek Municipal Building, 901
Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village, and noted for the record that the
following were present: Chairman Gayle B. Bantner, Alan J. Shapiro,
DDS, Secretary and Ted E. Thompson.
There were two oral interviews for Firefighter scheduled starting
at 8:00 p.m. The first candidate was Ms. Kali A. Pawlik interviewed
and was informed she would hear from the Fire and Police Commission.
The second candidate scheduled for 8:30 was Mr. Brian C. Johnson, he
was interviewed and offered job as Firefighter pending passing medical
exam, appointment set for August 20, 1996.
After much discussion the Fire and Police Commissioners left
instructions to send Ms. Pawlik a failure letter on August 15, 1996.
The Commissioners adjourned at 10:00 p.m.
