MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING
OF THE BOARD OF FIRE AND POLICE COMMISIONERS
OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
HELD ON APRIL 20, 1999
Chairman Bantner called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m, in the Charles J. Zettek
Building, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village and noted for the record that the
following were present: Chairman Gayle B. Bantner, and Robert Goldsmith.
It was moved by Bob Goldsmith and seconded by Chairman Bantner that the minutes of
the March 25, 1999 meeting be approved as submitted and that the Board dispense with
the reading thereof. The motion was moved upon by acclamation whereupon the
Chairman declared the motion carried.
PRESENTATION AND APPROVAL
1. An invoice in the amount of$2,800.00 to Police Consultants for psychological
assessments for 7 police officer candidates.
It was moved by Chairman Bantner and seconded by Bob Goldsmith that the Board
authorize the disbursement of funds for payment. The motion was voted upon by
acclamation whereupon the Chairman declared the motion carried.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Deputy Steve Schmidt — Discussion of police candidates and future testing.
CORRESPONDENCE
1. Correspondence from a police candidate in regards to the results of testing.
PENDING
Firefighter testing for May 11`h and May 15`h.
NEW BUSINESS
The order of future testing for police candidates will be changed to have the candidates
take the power test before the psychological and the medical.

ADJOURNMENT
It was moved by Chairman Bantner and seconded by Bob Goldsmith that the meeting be
adjourned. The motion was voted upon by acclamation whereupon Chairman Bantner
declared the motion carried and the meeting adjourned at 10:00 p.m.
