OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
HELD ON JULY 20, 1999 V AUG ,? 11999
Chairman Bantner called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in the Charles J. G CLERK'S OFFICE
Building, 901 Wellington Avenue, Elk Grove Village and noted for the record that the
following were present: Chairman Gayle B. Bantner, Dr. Alan J. Shapiro, Secretary and
Robert Goldsmith, Commissioner.
It was moved by Chairman Bantner and seconded by Dr. Shapiro that the minutes of the
June 15, 1999 meeting be approved as submitted and that the Board dispense with the
reading thereof. The motion was moved upon by acclamation whereupon Chairman
Banmer declared the motion carried.
PRESENTATION AND APPROVAL
1. An invoice in the amount of$2,075.00 to Dr. Charles Boyajian, MD for
five (5) physicals that were conducted for the five (5) new Police Officers
that were hired on July 6, 1999.
It was moved by Chairman Bantner and seconded by Robert Goldsmith that the Board
authorize the disbursement of funds for payment. The motion was voted upon by
acclamation whereupon the Chairman declared the motion carried.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Multiple Interviews conducted for the position of Firefighter.
CORRESPONDENCE
1. A letter from the Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board advising
that a Police Officer recruit has successfully completed training.

1. Firefighter Eligibility List.
2. Upcoming Police Officer Testing.
