The Village Board discussed the following items:
I. JOB SHARING
The Manager noted that it was difficult keeping employees
hired for the part-time, 6-hour per day, Clerk-Receptionist
position in Finance. It was recommended that job sharing of
the position be tried in order to increase tenure in the
position.
The consensus of the Village Board was to permit the Manager
to use job-sharing for the Clerk-Receptionist position and
to determine its effectiveness in retaining personnel .
II. LIBRARY DONATION
The Village President advised the Board that the FANS group
wanted to present a• check to the Library at tonight's
Village Board meeting. He advised the spokesperson that it
would be appropriate to make donations to another
governmental agency at that agency's board meeting. He also
noted that the President of the Library Board concurred.
The meeting adjourned at 8 p.m.
