Norbut, Elk Grove Times CAMBRIDGE HOMES PRESENTATION After a presentation on the proposal and discussion by the Committee, the consensus of the Committee was as follows: • to locate the west-side Community Events sign immediately east of the lift station have Cambridge Homes develop a screening plan for the sign, and to limit operation of the sign to no later than 10:00 p.m. ; • to not consider any roadway connection between the residential development and the unincorporated Walshin property to the south; • to accept a cash donation in lieu of land donation to be placed in the Capital Projects Fund; • to maintain ownership of Village well-site property abutting 1100 West Glenn Trail and assign maintenance responsibilities for the roadway to the future homeowners, association; • to have all potential homebuyers sign Letters of Awareness, noting the potential uses of the commercial properties along Meacham Road and require signed copies prior to issuance of occupancy permits; • to not require compensation for the use of Village well-site property for the construction of a roadway connection to West Glenn Trail; • to direct Cambridge Homes to plan for the inclusion of decorative streetlights as part of the residential development; • to hold a public hearing on the annexation and rezoning of the subject properties on May 11, 1999 at 7.00 p.m. AIRCRAFT SOUNDPROOFING The consensus of the Committee was to accept the assignment of 141 addresses for soundproofing by the City of Chicago as proposed. ROTARYFEST DONATION The consensus of the Committee was to approve a donation of $15, 000 for the 1999 Rotaryfest. This request will appear on the April 27 Village Board agenda. CITGO/7-11 The consensus of the Committee was to approve the request from Citgo/7-11 to redesign the existing canopy in conformance with Village requirements rather than install a new canopy. APRIL 27� VILLAGE BOARD MEETING SCHEDULE The consensus of the Committee was to concur with the Village President's suggested schedule for the April 27t' Village Board meeting. ANTIOUE FIRE ENGINE The consensus of the Committee was to share in the cost of purchasing an antique fire engine with the Foreign Fire Insurance Board, subject to a favorable inspection. EXECUTIVE SESSION The consensus of the Committee was to schedule an executive session for the purpose of discussing Personnel and Land Acquisition on Monday, April 26, at 7:00 p.m. and to schedule an executive session with the Police and Fire Commissoners on Tuesday, May 18, at 6:00 p.m. The meeting adjourned at 8.20 p.m. c: President & Board of Trustees, Village Manager, Assistant Village Manager, Assistant to the Village Manager, Administrative Intern, Village Clerk, Department Heads, Village Attorney
