JAYCEES PHONE BOOK ADVERTISEMENT
The consensus of the Committee was to place the same ad as
last year in the Jaycees phone book with the exception of
removing the Village Clerk due to her retirement.
ELK GROVE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE GOLF OUTING
Five of the Trustees will be attending the June 24"' event.
President Johnson and Trustee Feichter will inform staff at a
later date if they will be attending.
NORTHWEST CORRIDOR TRANSIT FEASIBILITY STUDY
The consensus of the Committee was to expend $2, 000 to
participate in a focus group analysis of the final transit
alternatives. Each participating municipality is paying $2, 000
for the study, which will identify transit alternatives that are
more likely to be utilized.
ESPRESSO BREWERY
The consensus of the Committee was to have staff contact
Espresso Brewery to inform them that their outdoor seating should
remain away from the curb.
LA MAGDALENA OUTDOOR SEATING
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
• to approve the temporary relocation of outdoor seating
to the east of the building until the Cucina Roma
construction is completed; and
• to have La Magdalena present pictures of the proposed
dividers between it 's building and Cucina Roma for
future Village Board consideration.
ENTRYWAY SIGNAGE: APPROVAL OF BRICK PILLARS AND LOCATIONS
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
• to approve the use of brick pillars with the wooden
signs at the six sites recommended by staff; and
• to approve the twelve site locations as recommended by
staff with the remaining six sites using wooden posts.
HOUSING MAINTENANCE
The consensus of the Committee was to have the Judiciary,
Planning and Zoning Committee review the Village 's housing
maintenance code to determine if an appearance ordinance needs to
be developed.
DONATION TO LIONS CLUB FOR 4T" OF JULY FIREWORKS
The consensus of the Committee was to approve a donation of
$15, 000 for the 1999 Lions Club 4t° of July Celebration.
ANTIQUE FIRE ENGINE
The consensus of the Committee was to not purchase the
antique fire engine due to the Foreign Fire Insurance Board's
decision to not contribute towards the purchase.
