Peterson, Elk Grove Journal NORTHWEST MUNICIPAL CONFERENCE 1999 ANNUAL BANQUET The Village President, four of the Trustees, the Village Manager, and Assistant Village Manager indicated their intention of attending the June 9`" Banquet. The consensus of the Committee was to bring the invitation up for discussion at the June 8`° Committee of the Whole meeting. PARK DISTRICT HEALTH INSURANCE EXPENSES The consensus of the Committee was to inform the Park District that they will be required to reimburse the Village for their health insurance deficit in the amount of $76, 000. If a public hearing is required, extend the due date to July 15, 1999. RESIDENTIAL RENEWAL PROGRAM The consensus of the Committee was to retain Planning Resources, Inc. , for urban design services for residential neighborhoods in the amount of $9, 901 and to seek a preliminary report in the near future. PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY RENOVATION After discussion of several designs reviewed by the Capital Improvements Committee, the consensus of the Committee was as follows: • to approve architectural plan " CC" with the modification to use the brick design shown in plan " CB" ; • to approve the replacement of the building's roof as part of the renovation work; and • to have revised elevations brought for further review at the June 8" Committee of the Whole meeting. FIRE STATION #7 RENOVATION The consensus of the Committee was to concur with the Capital Improvements Committee's recommendations for the expansion of the fire station. TOWN CENTER GATES The consensus of the Committee was to set a July 15, 1999 deadline for Hamilton Partners to install gates on trash enclosures in the Town Center.
