JANUARY 2000 VILLAGE BOARD MEETINGS
Due to scheduling conflicts, the consensus of the Committee
was to cancel the Committee of the Whole and Village Board
meetings for January ll` and January 25u (2" and 4°h Tuesdays)
and to schedule new Committee of the Whole and Village Board
meetings for January 4`h and January 18th (150 and 3r° Tuesdays) .
The consensus of the Committee was to hold a groundbreaking
ceremony on August 10`h at 6:00 p.m. or as an alternative, on
August 24`h at 6:45 p.m. , depending on the availability of State
Senator Wendell Jones.
VILLAGER NEWSLETTER ARTICLES
The consensus of the Committee was to approve the August
1999 Elk Grove Villager newsletter articles subject to minor
changes as requested by the Village Board along with the addition
of articles on the housing appearance code, Du Page County
household hazardous waste collections, and a resident response
section for the 2000 Village parade.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Trustee Czarnik moved, and Trustee Dill seconded a motion,
to enter into Executive Session to discuss matters of personnel,
land acquisition, and litigation. Upon voting, the motion
carried unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 7:25 p.m. and
entered into Executive Session.
