HARPER COLLEGE REFERENDUM
Members of the Harper College Board of Trustees and the school
President presented information to the Village Board regarding their
bond referendum that will be included on the election ballot on April
13, 1999. After presentation of video, a question and answer period
was held with the Village Board.
The meeting adjourned at 8 p.m.

1999 DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
• To concur with the locations recommended by the Capital
Improvements Committee for the 1999 Drainage Improvement
Program; and
• To direct staff to prepare bid specifications for completion
of the drainage improvements during the 1999 construction
season.
ROBOTIC CAMERAS IN COUNCIL CHAMBERS
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
• To utilize the $82, 000 grant from Media One to purchase
robotic cameras for the Council Chambers;
• To review funding any improvements which exceed the Media
One grant allocation; and
• To invite the Park District Board to use the Council
Chambers for their meetings subject to them providing their
own custodial staff for the meetings and paying any out of
pocket costs associated with that usage.
ENTRYWAY SIGN POSTS
The consensus of the Committee was to delay a decision on the use
of recycled plastic or wood posts until the February 9, 1999 Committee
of the Whole meeting.
RESIDENCY
The consensus of the Committee was to maintain the current policy
regarding Department Head residency.
