Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on May 22 2001 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Land Acquisition matter.

Land Acquisition
The Mayor advised the Village Board that he will be entering into conversations with the
Park District and School District 59 concerning the sale of the former Lively Jr. High
property.
The purpose of this dialogue is for the acquisition of the property for the purposes of
constructing a Cultural Arts Center, Pre-School, and Senior Center. Construction funding
would be provided by State and Federal grants.
The consensus of the Village Board was to entertain discussions concerning the potential
acquisition of the property.
The meeting adjourned at 7:05 p.m.
