SCHMIDT Village Trustee Police Chief C.PROCHNO J.BAIRD Village Trustee Special Counsel Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on 06/26/2001. this Executive Session was called to consider a land acquisition matter. Number of pages attached: 1 Date(s)of review for release: January 2002 Date of approval for release: 6/26/2001 7:01 p.m. LAND ACQUISITION The Village Attorney reported that Gullo International Development, the contract purchaser of the Dierking Terrace property, is seeking a$400450,000 reduction in the purchase price due to soil conditions. The contract currently totals$lmillion. The Village Attorney noted this request essentially nullifies the contract,which permits him to discuss a sale with Centerpoint Properties. The consensus of the Village Board was to only consider offers which would net over$800,000. The meeting adjourned at 7:05 p.m. lk
