Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on Aueust 14. 2001 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Personnel matter.

Personnel
The Village Manager reported that Elliot Goldstein has been selected as the arbitrator for
the Village's negotiation with the Police Union. At this time,the bargaining units are
expected to meet with the arbitrator in November,2001 with an award decided in 2002.
It is possible that the award may not be decided until September of 2002.
If the Police proceed with arbitration, a final proposal would need to be confirmed by the
Board to submit to the arbitrator.
