Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on December 3 2001 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Personnel matter.

Personnel
The Village Manager reported that under new changes to pension law,the Village
Attorney can be considered IMRF qualified.
Currently,the Village deposits an amount equal to the Attorney's IlARF contribution into
a 401 (a) account. Transferring his pension to IMRF would offer additional survivors
benefits not provided by the 401 (a). Changing the status of the Village Attorney into
IMRF would not cost the Village any additional funds.
The consensus of the Village Board was to approve this change as recommended, and
adopt an appropriate resolution effecting the change at the 12/03/01 regular Board
meeting.
The meeting ended at 6:58 p.m.
