Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on March 20, 2001
this Executive Session was called to consider a Personnel matter.

Issue Additional Persona
Following discussion of The Village Manager's March 16, 2001 memo on 2001-2002
Personnel Requests, the concensus of the Village Board was to approve the requested
additional personnel as follows:
1. Add an additional Police Officer(authorized strength from 78 to 79) assigned to
The U.S. Customs Service. Staff will report back concerning any minimum duration
needed for this assignment.
2. Add an additional part-time Environmental Health Inspector and remove Intern
position from Health Services.
3. Provide hireback hours to man the fourth ambulance at the Meacham Fire Station at an
approximate cost of$110,000; and
4. Filling the full time Public Works Industrial Meter Reader due to outside contractors
notice that effective May 1,2001 they will no longer be providing this service.
