PROCHNO Village Trustee Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on March 20, 2001 this Executive Session was called to consider a Personnel matter. Number of pages attached: Datc(s) of review for release: �� Date of approval for releaser L U' Executive Session Personnel March 20 2001 9:15 p.m. Issue 2001-2001 Wage and Salary Adjustments Following discussion of The Village Manager's February 16, 2001 memo on 2001-2001 Wage and Salary adjustments, the consensus of the Village Board was to approve the following wage related factors: 1. Merit Pay Plan Adjustments A. 4%Range Adjustment B. 3.5%General Merit Award for satisfactory performance C. 0%-4.5%merit award D. A 0%-2%Range Movement Award funded at 0.75%of merit E. An increase of$25 will be provided to current MEP amounts for each of the five(5)MEP Groups: Group 1 from$550 to $575 Group II from $650 to $675 Group III from$725 to $750 Group IV from $800 to $825 Group V from $1,100 to $1,125 2. Step Plan Adjustments A. A 3.5%General Increase to all Step Pay plan positions B. Adjust the compensation schedule for Accounting Clerk to reflect the market place (Step 1 -$5,310/Step 6$36,844) C. Add Longevity increase of$50 to each level of the Longevity Program for Step Pay Plan Employees. 3. Specific Rate Pay Plan The Village Board approved a 3.5%increase to Specific Pay Plan position rates. 4. Special Considerations A. Approved the 2001/2002 merit salary for the Assistant to the Village Manager of$51,242 B. Amend the salary range of the Assistant to the Fire Chief to be equal to the Assistant to the Police Chief, the Assistant to the Director of Finance, and the Assistant to the Public Works Director positions.
