Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on 04/10/01 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Personnel matter.

Personnel
The Village Manager reported a recommendation on health insurance from the
Personnel Committee has been provided to the Village Board for consideration. The
Village Manager summarized the recommended programs, and noted there is no change
in premium for the HMO program. The premiums for the Village plan are increased
14%. There is an increase in the emergency room visit fee from $25 to $50, and an
additional tier for prescription drugs: $5.00 generic; $10 formulary; and$25 name brand.
The Village Board discussed the recommendation, and the consensus was to
approve the health care items as recommended by the Personnel Committee at the 4/10
Village Board meeting.
The Village Board requested quotations from a number of alternative providers,
report cost comparisons to the Board, and evaluate opportunities for cost savings.
