Pursuant to a duly made and approved motion and a majority vote at a regularly
scheduled meeting of the Village President and Board of Trustees on Ma v 22. 2001 this
Executive Session was called to consider a Land Acquisition matter.

Land Acquisition
The Village Attorney brought the Village Board up-to-date concerning discussions to
purchase the Rohlwing Grove Shopping Center.
The Attorney noted that the asking price is increasing on the part of the landowners. One
parcel is under a sales contract. Long-term leases have also been entered into on several
properties. The Village may have to condemn leasehold interests which increases the
costs to the Village.
The price could go as high as$4.2 million,with the amount over$4 million recoverable
through TIF.
