TAXI CAB LICENSE REQUESTS
The consensus of the Committee was to hold public
hearings for the additional public vehicle dispatcher
license requests which are currently pending. Dates for the
hearings have yet to be determined.
BOSTON MARKET
The Committee discussed traffic flow and parking at the
Boston Market/Einstein Bagel facility.
OAKTON STREET FIRE STATIONISALTDOM
The consensus of the Committee was to concur with the
Oakton Street Fire Station/Salt Dome preliminary site plan
as recommended by the Fire Department and Public Works
pending approval by Commonwealth Edison to utilize their
easement.
NERGE/DEVON REZONING
The consensus of the Committee was to concur with the
Plan Commission recommendation and have the entire
Nerge/Devon area rezoned from B-2 General Business District
to B-3 Automotive Oriented Business District.
DISTRICT 59 TIF REVENUE SHARING PROPOSAL
The consensus of the Committee was to direct the
Village Manager to write a letter to School District 59
informing them that the Village would only consider their
proposed agreement to share tax revenues from the Grove Mall
redevelopment project if School District #59 shared in the
cost of the project.
UPCOMING MEETING DATES
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
• to hold a Budget Hearing on Tuesday, March 4 from 6 to
8 p.m. in Rooms A, B & C; and
• to reschedule the March 4, Capital Improvements
Committee meeting from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The meeting adjourned at 9:55 p.m.
