RELEASE OF B GET AND AGENDA TNFO MATTON TO N TDAT
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
• to release budget recommendation summaries to all
candidates for Village Board and the press on
Friday, February 28; and
• to release all Village Board and Committee of the
Whole agenda back-up material to candidates on the
Friday before meetings through the April 1, 1997
election.
INDUSTRIAL/COMMERCTAL. REVITALIZATION COMMISSTON (TCRC)
CONSULTANT RECOMMENDATION
The consensus of the Committee was to concur with the
ICRC's recommendation to engage Planning Resources for the
consulting work on the Commercial/Industrial Revitalization
Program, and to have the Village Manager and Village
Attorney negotiate a professional services contract for
Village Board review and approval .
CABLE ENABLING ORDINANCE
The consensus of the Committee was to concur with the
recommendation of the Continental Regional Cable Group to
adopt the new cable enabling ordinance and to have the
ordinance placed on the March 11, 1997 consent agenda.
BICYCLING TO SHOPPING CAMPAIGN
The consensus of the Committee was to send a letter to
the Northwest Municipal Conference (NWMC) indicating the
Village's interest in being considered for the "Bicycle to
Shopping Campaign" and pledging local matching funds in the
amount of $3, 300 if chosen to participate.
WATER TOWER ILLUMINATION
The consensus of the Committee was to maintain the
modified lighting on the west side water tower.
BUSINESS MATTERS NEWSLETTER ARTICLES
The consensus of the Committee was to approve of the
newsletter articles as submitted with the addition of an
article on the June 29, 1997 Village parade.

The consensus of the Committee was to increase the
immunization charge for all users by $1 . 00 until the
additional clerical costs are recovered.
NORTHWEST CENTRAL DISPATCH SURCHARGE TN R A
The Village Manager reviewed an informational report
concerning upgraded radio frequencies, cellular 9-1-1
services, and the future need to increase the 9-1-1
surcharge to cover these expenses.
CUT-THROUGH TRAFFIC ON CHELMSFORD
The consensus of the Committee was to have the Police
Department increase enforcement of speeding on Chelmsford
between Arlington Heights Road and Wellington and to perform
a study of traffic patterns in the area.
The meeting adjourned at 9:35 p.m.
