Rummel, Assistant Village Manager M_ Riordan, (Special Counsel) Others: None Reporters: Jon Davis, Da ly Herald GROVE MALL REDEVELOPMENT DOMINICK'S ELEVATION PLAN Hamilton Partners presented 2 optional elevation plans for Dominick's. Option # 1 has a lower left-end tower. Option #2 has equal size towers. The consensus of the Village Board was to accept Option #2. BRICK O .OR PALPTTE Hamilton Partners will present brick color recommendations for Village Board consideration at a later date. GLASS BLOCK IN DOMINICK'S TOWER The consensus of the Village Board was to accept spandreaux glass similar to the rest of center. .A B •O K TN DOMIN K' WA • . The consensus of the Village Board was to accept glass block with an awning subject to final details to be reviewed at a later date. TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT LONSDALE ON ARLINGTON HEIGHTS ROAD The consensus of the Village Board was to allow a traffic study now; have the study validated 3 months after Dominick's opens; and, if the study and validation after 3 months show a signal is needed, then the Village Board will pay 500 of the cost to install a traffic signal . All action is subject to Cook County permitting the signal installation. PARKING LOT LIGHTING The Village Manager noted that Schaumburg's Dominicks's store turns 50% of their lights off at 8 p.m. Dominick's (Andy Witheral) noted that store is immediately adjacent to residential dwelling units.
