AMENDMENT TO ANTMAF. CONTROL O TN N .
The consensus of the Committee was to refer this item
to the JPZ Committee for joint discussion with the Board of
Health. The date of the meeting has yet to be determined.
GROVE MALL--RTT ,DING MATERIAL• DTSCUSSTON
Hamilton Partners provided samples of various building
materials, including brick, limestone, and roofing materials
to the Committee for review. Upon discussion, the consensus
of the Committee was as follows:
• to approve a brick substantially similar to a standard
sized, Arlington style clay brick product with a
textured surface;
• to preference the limestone cap material over the
manmade faux limestone; or
• to provide a wirecut off-white color contrast brick for
Dominicks & Walgreens;
• to provide a gray, imitation slate roofing material;
• to provide a glazed block feature band; and
• to have Hamilton Partners construct a demo wall with
the preferred/approved materials using green tile in
the feature band.
In addition, the Village's Special Counsel will prepare
an ordinance amending the redevelopment agreement to include
the building material exhibit as stated by the Village
Board.
GROVE MALL--FOR LEASE SIGN VARIATION
The consensus of the Committee was to have this item
placed on the consent agenda at the April 8, 1997 Village
Board meeting.
GROVE MAL•L.--TRAFFIC STUDY
The consensus of the Committee was to concur with the
recommendation of the Director of Engineering & Community
Development to have the traffic study for the town square
consider the construction of a cul-de-sac on Lonsdale and
the limitation of right-turn movements entering/exiting the
shopping center.
CHANNEL 6 BUDGET
The consensus of the Committee was defer this item for
discussion at a future Committee of the Whole meeting.
