The consensus of the Committee was to defer discussion of
Horizon Taxicab's public passenger vehicle application to the
May 11, 1997 Committee of the Whole meeting.
WT •DWOOD LANE CURVE
The consensus of the Committee was to have the Public Works
Department paint a stripe at the curve on Wildwood Drive and to
refer the issue of street light installation to the Traffic
Advisory Council for review and discussion.
SATURDAY DIAL-A-RIDE SERVICE
The consensus of the Committee was to maintain the current
Saturday service from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. , and to review the issue
of afternoon ridership again in two months.
W E . •TN TON/BT PEDESTRIAN CROSSIN,
The consensus of the Committee was to have an article
explaining the difference between "Walk" and "Don't Walk" signs
at pedestrian crossings distributed to the Village Grove
Apartments and the Senior Center. in addition, a copy of the
article is to be included in the next Villager newsletter.
TOWN SQUARE NAME
The consensus of the Committee was to have staff provide
potential names for the redeveloped Grove Mall for discussion by
the Village Board.
REVISIONS TO DRTV WAY ORDTNANCF
The consensus of the Committee was to concur with the
recommendations of the JPZ Committee and have the revised
driveway ordinance placed on the Consent Agenda at the April 8,
1997 Village Board meeting.
AREA CODE SURVEY
The consensus of the Committee was to indicate to the
Northwest Municipal Conference the Village's preference for
future area codes as follows:
1st Preference - Separate Overlay by Area Code
2nd Preference - 708/847/630 Overlay
The meeting adjourned at 10:45 p.m.
