PEER JURY PROGRAM
The Committee discussed the operations and the status of the Peer
Jury program as of July 1997. Deputy Police Chief Larry Hammar was
present and provided specific information to the Committee regarding the
disposition of Peer Jury cases.
UNDERGROUNDING OF ELECTRICAL LINES
The Committee discussed possible funding sources for
undergrounding all electrical lines within the Village. The consensus
of the Committee was as follows:
• to have the Capital Improvements Committee look at possible
funding sources and develop a plan to bury all existing electrical
lines in a phased process; and
• to have staff work with Commonwealth Edison to determine the
specific costs of undergrounding the electrical lines in the
Cosman/Custom Lots area for review by the Capital Improvements
Committee.
The meeting adjourned at 10:55 p.m.
