TOWN CENTER TRAFFIC ALIGNMENT/SIGNAL
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
• to have the driveway north of Dominick's intersect at
a perpendicular angle with Arlington Heights Road,
• to send a letter to the residents on Lonsdale,
Creighton, and Grange requesting their input on
whether or not Lonsdale should have a cul-de-sac at
Arlington Heights Road, and
• to review residents' input on the cul-de-sac at the
October 14, 1997 Committee of the Whole meeting.

The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
• to approve the fountain design as presented by
Hamilton Partners; and
• to have staff research the feasibility of constructing
an off-season covering for the fountain structures.
PARKWAY DECORATION
The consensus of the Committee was to have staff develop a
proposal for additional flower plantings along the JFK/Elk Grove
Boulevard median and around all municipal buildings.
NWMC LEGISLATIVE DINNER
All members of the Village Board confirmed that they will be
attending the October 8, 1997 NWMC Legislative Dinner.
The meeting adjourned at 10:40 p.m.
