AT&T/SPRINT PGS MONOPOLE
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
• to have AT&T/Sprint research the possibility of using
Alexian Brothers Medical Center building for their
antennas;
• to provide architectural renderings of the proposed
monopole on the municipal complex site; and
• to have further discussion on the issue at the October
28, 1997 Committee of the Whole meeting.
SALT CREEK BIKEPATH INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
• to not enter into an intergovernmental agreement for
the Phase I study of the Salt Creek bikepath;
• to have staff design a connection to the Salt Creek
path through the use of an on-street, signed bikepath;
and
• to inform the DuPage County Forest Preserve District
and the Elk Grove Park District of the Village's
decision.
H=INGTON CHASE NOISE CONSULTANT
The consensus of the Committee was to take no further action
in assisting Cambridge Homes and the residents in the resolution
of their private dispute regarding the noise impact of the I-290
roadway. Letters informing the residents of the Village's
decision will be mailed to the entire Huntington Chase
Subdivsion.
STATUE FUND RAISING PROJECT
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
• to hold a dinner/auction fund raiser in September 1998
to assist in the purchase of the beautification of the
Village Green area;
• to continue membership in the Statue Committee with
the Library and Park District with the understanding
that the entity owning the property will control which
statue goes on their property; and
• to include the "Bookin' It" statue in the plans for
the Village Green.
The meeting adjourned at 11:15 p.m.
