AT&T/SPRINT PCS MONOPOLE
The consensus of the Committee was to refer this item to the
JPZ Committee for review and recommendation. In conjunction with
the siting of a monopole structure at Fire Station #7, the JPZ
Committee will also discuss methods of collecting a 9-1-1
surcharge from wireless telecommunications for upgrades to NWCD
equipment necessary due to the use of wireless telephones.
LIVE CABLECASTING OF COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE
The consensus of the Committee was to begin the live
cablecasting of Committee of the whole meetings at the regularly
scheduled meeting on Tuesday, November 11, 1997.
CAMPAIGN SIGNAGE
The consensus of the Committee was to concur with the
recommendation of the JPZ Committee to maintain the Village's
current sign ordinance in relation to the restrictions on
campaign signage posted in public right-of-ways and on private
property.
GRAFFITI ORDINANCE
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
• to adopt the graffiti ordinance as written at the
October 28, 1997 Village Board meeting;
• to have all citation notices provide information on
the Cook County Graffiti Abatement Program; and
• to contact the Cook County Forest Preserve District
regarding the removal of graffiti from the restrooms
in Busse Woods.
VILLAGE BOARD INTERNET ACCESS
The consigns of the Committee was as follows:
• to provide Village Board members with training and
access to the internet;
• to provide Village Board members with separate e-mail
addresses; and
• to allow Village Board members to participate in the
employee computer purchase program.
"CAMELOT" PARTY COMMITTEE AND SCHEDULE
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
• to have President Johnson and Trustees Czarnik, Dill
and Prochno be members of the Camelot Party Committee;
• to solicit participation on the Committee from Village
employees and resident volunteers if necessary; and
• to schedule a meeting of the Committee on November 11,
1997.
LONSDALE CUL-DE-SAC
The consensus of the Committee was to install a cul-de-sac
at the intersection of Arlington Heights and Lonsdale Roads.
The meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
