Trustees Czarnik, Dill, Feichter and Prochno confirmed that
they will be attending the April 2, 1998 Elk Grove Exchange. -
President Johnson may attend pending other commitments.
AMERICAN HOUSING PARTNERSHIP
The Village President announced that the annexation
agreement for the senior housing facility on Meacham Road will
lapse on May 27, 1998 due to American Housing Partnership's
inability to obtain funding for the project.
WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT COUNCYT, DINNER
The consensus of the Committee was to have staff reserve a
table for the May 7, 1998 Workforce Development Council Dinner.
Names of those attending will be submitted at a later date.
BRUSH rnT,r,PrTToN PROGRAM
The consensus of the Committee was to initiate a spring
brush collection program for branches between 4 inches and 8 in
diameter in 1999 as recommended by the Director of Public Works.
ROTARYFEST
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
• to waive all fees associated with the 1998 Rotaryfest;
• to increase the Village's fireworks donation amount from
$7,500 to $10, 000 for FY 1998-99; and
• to have staff contact Department Heads to determine
participation at the Village's tent.
The fee waiver and donation will be placed on the April 14,
1998 Village Board Agenda.
DONATION FOR FIREWORKS ACTIVITIFS
The consensus of the Committee was to discuss the donation
of funds for fireworks activities through the water billing .
process at a Committee of the Whole Meeting during the month of
May. Staff will research the issue and report to the Village
Board.
VILLAGE GREEN BENCHES
The consensus of the Committee was to select the "Infinity"
style benches with black metal frame and cedar colored recycled
plastic for installation in the Village Green area. The number
of benches to be purchased will be determined at a later date.

The consensus of the Committee was to work with the Lonsdale
homeowners to develop an acceptable landscape plan for the
Lonsdale cul-de-sac.
TOWN CE=RIVTT,T,ArR GREEN LANDSCAPING
The consensus of the Committee was to replace the non-salt
tolerant evergreens along Arlington Heights Road with a species
of evergreen which are resistant to the negative impacts of road
salt.
SALT CREEK CLEAN-UP GROUP
The consensus of the Committee was to assign Trustee Lissner
as the Village Board Representative to the Salt Creek watershed
Network sponsored by Nick Nicola.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Trustee Petri moved, and Trustee Lissner seconded a motion,
to enter into Executive Session for discussion of land
acquisition and litigation. Upon voting, the motion was
unanimously approved. The meeting adjourned and moved into
Executive Session at
7:50 p.m.
