Rooney, Daily Herald PACE DIAL-A-RIDE SERVICE The consensus of the Committee was as follows: • to amend the fixed Dial-A-Ride service to include a trip to Stratford Mall in place of Randhurst Mall, • to amend the fixed Dial-A-Ride service by adding the Elk Grove Town Center to the weekly Elks Crossing trip; and • to adopt a resolution amending the PACE Local Share Agreement at the June 23, 1998 village Board meeting. nTORTH LEST CENTRAL DISPATCH (NWCD) SYSTEM The consensus of the Committee was as follows: • to increase the 9-1-1 surcharge from $0.30 to $0. 75 as recommended by NWCD; • to adopt an ordinance increasing the 9-1-1 surcharge to $0. 75, effective September 1, 1998 at the June 23, 1998 Village Board meeting. STUDENT RESOURCE OFFICER (SRO) AT MEAD SCHOOL The consensus of the Village Board was as follows: • to have School District 54 make a presentation on the SRO program at the June 23, 1998 Committee of the Whole meeting; and • to temporarily increase the authorized strength of Police Officers by one (1) at the June 9, 1998 Village Board meeting so that an officer can be assigned to the position of SRO at Mead if approved by the Village Board.
