Rooney, DAILY HERALD r.IONq (-T.rTR WTPFWORKS DONATION The consensus of the Committee was as follows: • to approve a donation of $10, 000 to the 1998 Lions Club fireworks display; and • to have the donation and fee waivers for the Lions Club placed on the June 23, 1998 consent agenda. MUNICIPAL COM .X B The consensus of the Committee was to defer discussion on the Municipal Complex benches to the June 23, 1998 Committee of the whole meeting. ELK GROVE BOULEVARD LANDSCAPE BEDS The consensus of the Committee was as follows: • to install the larger prototype landscape beds in the Elk Grove Boulevard/Kennedy Boulevard medians after the June 21, 1998 Village Parade; and • to pay for the installation of the landscape beds from the Recycling Fund. BRONZE STATUARY IN VILLAGE GREEN AREA The consensus of the Committee was as follows: • to purchase the "Never Too Big", "Overdue" and "Story Time" statues as recommended by the Village President; and • to pay for the portion of the statue purchases not covered by private donations from the Village's Recycling Fund. POLICE SUPERVISOR VEHICLE DESIGN The Village Manager distributed vehicle identification designs for the Chevy Tahoes to the Village Board. A final decision on the design will be made at a later date. EXECUTIVE SESSION Trustee Petri moved, and Trustee Lissner seconded a motion to enter into Executive Session for the purpose of discussing matters of Litigation. Upon voting, the motion was unanimously approved.
