The consensus of the Committee was to approve Hamilton
Partner's request to lease Retail Building D to Kinko's Copies.
IMPROVEMENTS TO LANDMEIER P[IBLIC WORKS FACILITY
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
• to refer this issue to the Capital Improvements
Committee;
• to pay for facade and internal improvements from the
Capital Projects Fund; and
O
• to solicit input from the Industrial/Commercial
Revitalization Commission in the design of facade
improvements for the building.
DISTRICT 54 SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER
The consensus of the Committee was to have staff develop an
agreement with School District 54 which would implement the
School Resource Officer Program beginning in September of 1999.
COSMAN ROAD SIDEWALK INSTALLATION _
The consensus of the Committee was to install the sidewalk
on the north side of Cosman Road between Charles and Winston, as
recommended by the Capital Improvements Committee.
PARK BENCH AT FIRE ADMINISTRATION BUILDING
The consensus of the Committee was to install a recycled
plastic bench, with back, at the southeast intersection of JFK
Boulevard and Brantwood Avenue, in front of the Fire
Administration Building.
RELAY FOR LIFE VOLUNTEER PARTICIPATION
The consensus of the Committee was to volunteer to work at
the registration table at the Relay For Life event. Staff will
contact Trustees Feichter and Prochno to determine where they
would prefer to volunteer.
COMMUNITY PAINT-A-TIiQ14
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
• to volunteer to paint a home in the community during
the last weekend in September; and
• to solicit additional participation from other Boards
and Commissions.
VILLAGE PARADE DATE
The consensus of the Committee was to schedule the 1999
Village Parade for the morning of Saturday, June 19 in order to
avoid conflicts with the observance of Father's Day on Sunday,
June 20.

DCCA GRANT APPLICATION
The consensus of the Committee was to have staff provide the
Village Board with an enlarged map identifying the proposed
residential sign locations prior to making a decision at the
July 28 Committee of the Whole meeting.
NWMC GOLF OUT
President Johnson and Trustee Lissner confirmed that they
would be attending the September 3 NWMC Golf Outing for afternoon
golf and dinner. Trustees Czarnik and Dill will attend for
dinner only.
DEDICATION OF VILLAGE GREEN
The consensus of the Committee was to host a Village Green
dedication ceremony on Saturday, September 12 at 10:30 a.m. at
the Elk Grove Municipal Complex.
INDUSTRIALICOMMERCIAL DIRECTORY
The consensus of the Committee was to have copies of the
updated Commercial/Industrial directory issued to all Village
Board members with the exception of the Village President.
The meeting adjourned at 7:40 p.m.
