Rooney, Daily Herald HARPER COLLEGE Harper College President Dr. Robert L. Breuder attended the meeting and introduced himself to the Committee. CUCINA ROMA BUILDING MODIFICATIONS The consensus of the Committee was to approve the proposed building modifications to the Cucina Roma restaurant (Retail Building C) as follows: • Installation of wood windows; • Installation of different style canopies between buildings C 6 D; and • Installation of a lattice structure to the exterior of the building. PARKWAY TREE TRI24IING The consensus of the Committee was to approve the trimming of an additional 1,000 parkway trees during the 1998-99 fiscal year as recommended by staff. BUSINESS MATTERS NEWSLETTER ARTICLES The consensus of the Committee was as follows: • to approve the August 1998 Business Matters newsletter articles subject to one minor change; and • to dedicate the next Business Matters to information on the Industrial/Commercial Revitalization. ENTRYWAY SIGNAGE The consensus of the Committee was as follows: • to have staff submit the DCCA Grant Application including the 14 proposed sign locations as recommended by staff; and • to review entryway signage located in neighboring communities. NEXTEL/CELLULAR ONE LEASE AGREEMENTS The consensus of the Committee was as follows: • to approve the antenna leases as recommended by the JPZ Committee; and • to adopt the Special Use Permit ordinances and Resolutions approving the antenna leases at the July 28th Village Board Meeting. MOBILE FOOD VENDING LICENSES The consensus of the Committee was to refer this issue to the JPZ Committee. UNITED WAY FEE The consensus of the Committee was to waive the $100 mailing list fee for the United Way. FIRE DEPARTMENT TRAINING FACILITY Following a presentation on the new Fire Training Facility, the consensus of the Committee was to approve the design of the training facility as recommended by the Fire Department and the Village's consultant.
