LIBRARY ENTRANCE DISCUSSION
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
• to concur with the Library Board's request for two-way traffic in their
east/west entrance area subject to extension of the sidewalk from the
Village Green in order to discourage cut-through traffic;
• to approve the proposed sidewalk extension, including brick pavers, at
the expense of the Village ($10,000 to $16,000); and
• to have staff provide a memo to the Village Board indicating the statue
locations for the Village Green area.
ADVERTISEMENT N ELK GROVE JOURNAL
The consensus of the Committee was to buy a full-page ad for the special
Camelot on the Green publication being prepared by the Elk Grove Journal subject to
it being distributed on September 91h and 10`h. The Village will also receive 200
copies for self-distribution at various locations.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Trustee Dill moved, and Trustee Lissner seconded a motion, to enter into
Executive Session to discuss matters of litigation, personnel and land acquisition.
Upon voting, the motion carried unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
and entered into Executive Session.
