MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY ACTIVITY
The Committee discussed various options for Village Board
involvement in Make A Difference Day. Each Village Board member
will contact Trustee Czarnik or Community Services to indicate
what specific activity they will be doing.
NWMC LEGISLATIVE DINNER
President Johnson and Trustees Feichter, Lissner, Petri and
Prochno indicated that they will be attending the October 14,
1998 NWMC legislative dinner.
PACE PARK `N' RIDE DEDICATION
President Johnson and Trustee Petri indicated that they will
be attending the October 19, 1998 dedication of the PACE Park `n'
Ride facility at Northwest Point.
CITGO REDEVELOPMENT
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
• To approve the site plan dated September 11, 1998,
prepared by C. M. Lavoie & Associates for the
redevelopment of the Citgo gas station at the southwest
corner of Biesterfield and Arlington Heights Road as
presented; and
• To approve the opening of an access drive in the
southeast corner of the Citgo property to the Town Center
development.
