Womer, CHICAGO TRIBUNE AMERITECH WATER TOWER ANTENNA REQUEST The consensus of the Committee was as follows: -- to grant conceptual approval of the placement of communication antennas on the Water Tower as presented; -- authorize a public hearing before the Plan Commission for the appropriate Special Use Permit; and COW 2/13/96 - 9. ,,0 p.m. 2 - - to direct staff to begin negotiations for the lease agreement for the west side water tower to include the installation of light fixtures at the base of the tower and the renegotiation of the Village's existing agreement with Ameritech for its tower at Greenleaf and Busse. INTERNAL BIKE ROUTE CONSTRUCTION The consensus of the Committee was to refer this item to the Bicycle Commission for further review and recommendation. CHANNEL 6 FUNDING The consensus of the Committee was as follows: - - to provide the Park District with additional funds on a matching basis for the operation of Channel 6, up to an amount of $20, 000; and -- to request access to the Park District's Channel 6 accounting information to reconcile with the Village accounting procedures. 40TH ANNIVERSARY BANNERS The consensus of the Committee was to recommend approval of the purchase of a set of the 40th Anniversary Banners as presented. An increase to the purchase contract will be placed on the February 27, 1996 Consent Agenda. CHARLES J. ZETTEK ABSTRACT The consensus was to not pursue an abstract art display representing Charles J. Zettek. The meeting adjourned at 9:45 p.m.
