BOSTON MARKET REZONING AND SITE PLAN AMENDMENT
The consensus of the committee was to defer this issue to
the JPZ Committee for review and recommendation on the following:
• landscaping (tree sizes) ;
• parking and traffic flow; and
• building aesthetics
JPZ MEETING
The JPZ Committee scheduled a meeting on Tuesday, June 4 at
7:00 p.m.
GROVE A A -S
The consensus of the committee was to approve the following
items as New Business at the Village Board meeting:
• to authorize the Village Manager to approve the
leases for the existing Grove Mall tenants in
accordance with the dates and amounts recommended
by the Village Attorney and Village Manager;
• to approve a contract with Trkla, Pettigrew, Allen
& Payne (TPAP) for urban planning and redevelopment
services related to the Grove Mall in the amount of
$68,500; and
• to hold a meeting with TPAP, Village Board, Plan
Commission and ZBA members on June 1, 1996 at 8:30
p.m.
FIRE DEPARTMENT SIGNAGE
The consensus of the Committee was to have Staff obtain
price estimates for the following: relocation of the sign, the
reduction of the sign with landscaping and the purchase of a new
sign for the Fire Administration Building.
40TH ANNIVERSARY NEWSPAPER B •KATION
The consensus of the Committee was to approve the mass
mailing of the 40th Anniversary Newspaper with changes as
indicated by the Committee.
COMMERCIAL "FDR LEASE." SIGNS
The consensus of the Committee was to concur with the
recommendation of the JPZ Committee to have a 90-day moratorium
placed on the enforcement of the "For Lease" sign ordinance in
order to allow property owners/managers to make alternative
signage plans.
INTERNET GRANT
The consensus of the Committee was to have the Village serve
as a co-applicant with Elk Grove High School for Internet funding
assistance.
