GULLO LANDSCAPING PLAN
The consensus of the Committee was to approve the landscape
plan for the new shopping center adjacent to Elk Crossing as
proposed, subject to the addition of a pedestrian sidewalk from
the southernmost building to the southwest corner of the
property.
ELK GROVE HIGH SCHOOL ADVERTISEMENT
The consensus of the Committee was to not advertise on the
Elk Grove High School athletic posters and to direct staff to
contact the High School to determine if there are alternative
ways to support extracurricular activities.
LANDSCAPE SCREENING AT 666 LANDMESER
The consensus of the Committee was to concur with the
recommendation of the Public Works Director to install
landscaping on the east side of the fence at 666 Landmeier, as
requested by the residents on Redwood Avenue.
SPECIAL EDITION (GROVE MALL) VILLAGER NEWSLETTER
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
• to approve the articles subject to the recommended
changes being made; and
• to include the special edition arpicles as an insert in
the next VILLAGER newsletter.
GENERAL FUND STATUS
The consensus of the Committee was to schedule a meeting in
late September to discuss the status of the General Fund.
GREATER WOODFT . •D FUNDTATG REQUEST
The consensus of the Committee was to discuss the Greater
Woodfield Visitor and Convention Bureau funding request at the
September 10, 1996 Committee of the Whole meeting.
CELLULAR ONE ANTENNA SITING
The consensus of the Committee was to recommend approval of
a joint public hearing before the Plan Commission and Zoning
Board of Appeals for all five (5) of Cellular One's proposed
antenna sites subject to the following modifications to the
antenna at Meacham and Vermont:
• relocation approximately 125 feet north; and
• commitment to use an anodized, brown metal pole.
MARGARET MEAD SCHOOL SIGN REQUEST
The consensus of the Committee was to direct staff to
install directional signage at the Biesterfield/Michigan/Wise
intersection indicating the direction of Margaret Mead Junior
High School and to request Margaret Mead Junior High to reimburse
the Village for the production of the sign.
40th ANNIVERSARY BANNERS AND T•T .N .AT .R
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
• to donate one set of banners and license plates to the
Elk Grove Historical Society;
• to provide one set of banners and license plates to
the Village Clerk; and
• to organize a raffle for residents who are interested
in obtaining the remaining memorabilia to be
advertised in the upcoming villager newsletter.

The consensus of the Committee was to approve an Annual
Village Parade and to direct staff to investigate which Village
department or individual could be utilized as parade coordinator.
