AT&T E •L• TT,AR NT .NNA REQUEST
The consensus of the committee was as follows:
• to recommend approval of a public hearing before the Plan
Commission for AT&T's temporary and permanent antenna
requests at the September 24, 1996 Village Board meeting;
and
• to have staff begin negotiating a lease agreement for AT&T
for their use of Village property.
MAKE-A-DIFFERENCE DAY ACTIVITY
The consensus of the Committee was to discuss this issue at
the September 24, 1996 Committee of the Whole meeting.
O'HARE AIRPORT NOISE COMMISSION
The consensus of the Committee was to have S.O.C. attorney,
Joe Karaganis, speak to this issue at the September 24, 1996
Committee of the Whole meeting. In order to accommodate the
discussion, the meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m.
REYNOL•D R . ING RELOCATION RPO .4T
The consensus of the Committee was to not consider Reynold's
Recycling request to relocate a semi-trailer to the Walmart
parking lot.
YOUTH IN GOVERNMENT ISSUES
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
• to discuss the issues submitted by the Elk Grove High School
at the Committee of the Whole on October 8; and
• to start the meeting on October 8 at 6:30 p.m.
NEON SIGN PROHIBITION
The consensus of the committee was to have the Village
Attorney and Director of Engineering & Community Development
prepare the neon sign prohibition ordinance restricting both
exposed neon tubing on exterior signs and inside windows for
review by the JPZ Committee.
The meeting adjourned at 11:15 p.m.
