Davis, DAILY HERALD Eric Peterson, ELK GROVE JOURNAL Kelly Womer, CHICAGO TRIBUNE S.O.C. PRESENTATION Suburban O'Hare Commission (S.O.C. ) Attorney Joe Karaganis made a presentation to the Village Board regarding the proposed O'Hare Noise Commission. Upon discussion, it was the consensus of the Committee to adopt an agreement in support of the Suburban O'Hare Noise Commission. However, the Village will not forward the agreement to S.O.C. until after the November referendum is tallied. BICYCLE—TO-SHOPPING PROGRAM It was the consensus of the Committee to send a letter to the Northwest Municipal Conference in support of the ^Bicycle to Shopping" Campaign. MAKE-A-DIFFERENCE DAY ACTIVITY It was the consensus of the Committee to participate in the Make-A-Difference Day walk sponsored by the Community Service Board. BUSINESS MATTERS NEWSLETTER - The consensus of the Committee was to approve the articles for the Business Matters newsletter subject to confirming the correct name for NBD Bank in the PIC scholarship article. MOSTARDI-PLATT STUDY The consensus of the Committee was to authorize a contract with Mostardi-Platt to do a Phase III Environment Study (items A & B) on the Grove Mall Property in an amount not to exceed $9, 105. This item will be approved under New Business at the Village Board meeting on September 24, 1996. ELK GROVE HISTORICAL BOOK The consensus of the Committee was to sell the Elk Grove Historical Book authored by Jim Issel in the atrium of the Municipal Complex.
