The Committee discussed the issues developed by the Youth-
In-Government Program. The issues discussed and the Committee
consensus was as follows:
• Traffic at Oakton and Wildwood -- The consensus of
the Committee was to refer this item to the Traffic
Advisory Council with a presentation to be made by
the Youth-In Government participants.
• Teen Activities -- The consensus of the Committee
was to have the students prepare information on
potential teen-oriented activities that could be
incorporated into the Grove Mall redevelopment and
submit that to the Village Board.

The consensus of the Committee was to allow each member to
visit an existing Boston Market in the evening hours to view the
proposed signage/lighting prior to discussing the signage request
on October 22.
VILLAGE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS
The consensus of the Committee was to refer this item to the
Capital Improvements Committee for review and recommendation.
ANTENNA SITING POLICY
The consensus of the Committee was to refer this item to the
Plan Commission for review and recommendation.
REVISIONS TO DRIVEWAY ORDTNANCF
The consensus of the Committee was to refer this item to the
JPZ Committee for review and recommendation.
PARK DT TRT T ART C0MMTTTFF rIPDATE
The Village President reported that he and the Village
Manager had attended a meeting with the Park District to discuss
ideas for artwork to be included as part of the Grove Mall
redevelopment and passed around some photos of what was being
discussed. The next meeting on this matter is scheduled for
November 4, at the Park District offices.
The meeting adjourned at 7:55 p.m.
