AT&T LEASE AGREEMENT 22ECIAL USE PERMIT
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
• to increase the initial monthly rent to $1, 500
($18, 000/year) with a provision that would reduce
the monthly rent to $1, 250 plus accrued annual
increases at such time that the Village co-leases
ground space for the use of AT&T's tower; and
• to adopt the special use permit ordinance and
resoluton approving the lease agreement at the
December 10, 1996 Village Board meeting subject to
the aforementioned language changes being prepared
by the Village Attorney.

The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
• to schedule a public hearing to consider Elk Grove
Village Taxi 's dispatching license request onJanuary
14, 1997 at 7:30 p.m. ; and
• to have staff provide information on taxi "posting"
regulations to the Village Board prior to the public
hearing.
UNDERAGETOBACCO USE R ATTONS
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
• to concur with the recommendations of the JPZ
Committee;
• to have the Village Attorney prepare the appropriate
ordinance revising the Village 's tobacco
regulations; and
• to have thank you letters sent to the Community
Health Alliance and Ray Broderick thanking them for
their participation in revising tobacco regulations.

The consensus of the Committee was to authorize the
public hearing for the rezoning of the Nerge/Devon area at
the December 10, 1996 Village Board meeting.

The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
• to refer this issue to the JPZ Committee for further
discussion and recommendation; and
• to have staff prepare a report on the how the
proposed use would be treated under the Village 's
Zoning Ordinance for the JPZ Committee.
PARK 'N' SHOP TEXT AMENDMEN
The consensus of the Committee was to refer this issue
to the JPZ Committee for further discussion and
recommendation.
VARIATION REQUEST - 64 ROV • BOITT,RVAR
The consensus of the Committee was to refer this issue
to the JPZ Committee for further review and discussion with
the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBZ) . A joint meeting with the
JPZ Committee and the ZBA will be established for some time
in January.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
