CRITERIA FOR FUNDING OF LOCAL DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
The consensus of the Committee was as follows:
-- to approve the criteria established for funding of
local drainage improvement projects as recommended by
the Director of Engineering and Community Development in
his report dated January 12, 1995;
-- to prioritize the drainage improvement projects by
those which would remedy the worst conditions and
benefit the greater number of residents; and
-- to continue to evaluate future projects by this
criteria as they are brought to the attention of the
Village through formal complaints.
HEALTH DEPARTMENT MASS MAILING
The consensus of the Committee was to approve the mass
mailing from the Health Services Coordinator to residents who are
delinquent in paying their refuse bills.

WATER TOWER LOGO
The Consensus of the Committee was as follows :
-- to have the base of the water tower painted in "Hint O '
Green"and the Elk Grove Village logo painted "Emerald
Green" as recommended by the Director of Public Works;
-- have 216" letters reading "Elk Grove Village" inside
the logo shield and have letters reading "Elk Grove"
on either side of the logo; and
-- Have two sides of the tower painted with the logo facing
North and South.
LEXINGTON HOMES
The Village Manager reported to the village Board that an
agreement had been reached with Lexington Homes regarding the
language for the amendment to their annexation agreement which
would require Lexington Homes to provide $35,000 for the
construction of a tot lot on their property.
A public hearing on this matter is scheduled for 7:45 p.m. ,
before the Village Board meeting. Subsequently, this item can
go before the Village Board for approval under New Business at
the 2114195 Village Board Meeting.
40TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION COMMITTEE
Trustee Czarnik stated that a meeting of the 40th Anniversary
Celebration Committee was held on February 9 and that the
Committee was seeking village Board approval to grant a $40. 00
prize to the Village employee or board/commission member that
came up with the best theme for the 40th anniversary
celebration. The Consensus of the Committee was to approve the
$40.00 prize.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Trustee Tosto moved and Trustee Johnson seconded a motion to
enter into Executive Session to discuss matters of personnel .
Upon voting, all AYES, the motion passed unanimously.
The Committee entered into Executive Session at 7:32 p.m.
