Womer, CHICAGO TRIBUNE NORTH WEST HOUSING PARTNERSHIP (NWHP) SENIOR HOUSING Eileen Andrews of NWHP and Andrew Aulde of Shelter Development Corporation presented the conceptual site plan for a proposed senior housing facility at 912 Landmeier Road. The consensus of the Committee was to direct the NWHP to begin staff review and proceed before the Plan Commission, prior to Village Board consideration. 40th ANNIVERSARY COMMITTEE BUDGET The consensus of the Committee was to approve the concept of the 40th Anniversary Celebration and allocate $5,000 in seed money toward the event. - z - SMOKING POLICY The consensus of the Committee was to address this under pending action of the Village Attorney at the April 11, 1995 Village Board meeting. MOTOROLA HALF MARATHON The consensus of the Committee was to approve the use of Village streets for a half-marathon to be held on October 1, 1995. NEWSLETTER ARTICLE The consensus of the Committee was to approve the additional newsletter article on Communication submitted by the Village Manager for mass mailing to all Village residents. FEMA MAP REVISIONS The consensus of the Committee was to send a letter from the Village President to residents in the FEMA floodplain area, explaining changes to the floodplain map. PREEMPTION OF LOCAL GUN CONTROL The consensus of the Committee was to have Staff prepare a resolution in opposition to HB-568 to be passed at an upcoming Village Board Meeting.
