GULLO SHOPPING CENTER
Representatives from Taco Bell and Gullo Development made a
presentation to the Village Board on the architectural design and
aesthetics of the shopping center, and the upscale design of the
proposed Taco Bell. After further discussion, the consensus of
the Committee was to approve the rezoning of Outlot #1 subject to
the following:
-- that the upscale Taco Bell be constructed provided
that no neon flags, posters, or banners be hung in
or on the Taco Bell windows or property; and,
-- that the entire development include additional
landscaping over and above what is required by
village Ordinance with the proposed landscape plan
to be reviewed by staff with a report to be
presented to the Village Board.

BANNERS ON BIESTERFIELD
The consensus of the Committee was to have Trustee Czarnik
coordinate a banner selection committee to make recommendations
on the colors and patterns of the banners. The Committee
recommendations will be placed on the June 13 Committee of the
Whole Agenda.
PARADE FLOAT
This item will be discussed at the June 13 Committee of the
Whole meeting.
FOR LEASE SIGNS
The consensus of the Committee was to discuss the For Lease
Sign Ordinance with the members of the Business Liaison Council .
SWANCC OPEN HOUSE
Trustee Lissner indicated that he would be attending the tour
of the Wheeling Township Transfer Station on June 3.
FAB FIVE EVENTS - INTERGOVERNMENTAL YOUTH COUNCIL
The consensus of the Committee was to approve the 1996 Summer
Youth "Fab Five" events as recommended by the Inter-governmental
Youth Council . In addition, these events are to be advertised on
the Community Events sign.
BOOK SALE IN ATRIUM - "CARDIAC KID"
The consensus of the Committee was to approve the sale of
Cardiac Kid, written by Elk Grove resident, Scott Frank, in the
atrium of the Municipal Complex.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Trustee Johnson moved and Trustee Czarnik seconded a motion
to enter into Executive Session to discuss litigation. The
meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
