Womer, CHICAGO TRIBUNE NORTHWEST HOUSING PARTNERSHIP WAIVER OF FEES The consensus of the Committee was to waive all engineering and building permit fees and not to undertake the costs for extension of water and sewer service. SIDEWALK ON LANDMEIER ROAD The consensus of the Committee was as follows: -- to have Staff prepare a report on the amount of R.O.W. on the south side of Landmeier Road, the number of unincorporated homes that would be affected, and the cost of installing sidewalk on south side of Landmeier from Ridge to Woodview; and -- to determine if the planned traffic signal at Landmeier and Tonne is pedestrian activated. 1995 VILLAGE PARADE FLOAT The consensus of the Committee was as follows: -- to select Model 3-T (page 6 of brochure) for the Village 's float design; 2 - -- to incorporate the Village logo in the float; -- to invite past elected officials to ride on the float; and -- to have cars (convertibles) supplied for Village Board members to ride in. SUMMER BANNER DESIGN The consensus of the Committee was to approve the banner design recommended by the banner selection committee. VILLAGE PRESENCE ON THE INTERNET The consensus of the Committee was to establish a "home page" on the internet as recommended by the Assistant Village Manager and to arrange a demonstration of the Internet for the July 11 Committee of the Whole meeting. MIDWEST CHRISTIAN CENTER The consensus of the Committee was to not entertain Midwest Christian Center's request for a text amendment and special use permit to allow the operation of churches in business districts. BOOSTER CLUB ADVERTISEMENT The consensus of the Committee was to place a 112 page ad in the 1995-1996 Elk Grove High School "Activity Book" at a cost of $90.00 BICYCLE ROUTE MAPS The consensus of the Committee was to approve the concept of the bicycle route map as recommended by the Bicycle Commission with the bicycle logo to read "Elk Grove Bicycle Route. " The proposed logo will be reviewed by the Village Board before printing. EXTENSION OF WATER AND SEWER UTILITIES TO GROOT INDUSTRIES The consensus of the Committee was to approve the agreement for providing water and sewer utilities to Groot Industries as recommended by the Village Manager. - 3 - SKATEBOARDING ON TENNIS COURTS The consensus of the Committee was to have this item placed on the Consent Agenda for Village Board approval at the June 27, 1995 Village Board meeting. NORTHWEST CENTRAL DISPATCH ANTENNA The consensus of the Committee was to contact Northwest Central Dispatch to see if they can provide an alternative antenna design for the placement of their antenna on top of the west side water tower. SNOWPLOWING OF LIBRARY The consensus of the Committee was to offer the Village 's snowplowing services to the Library subject to the following conditions: -- that they compensate the Village $2,500 for staff time, salt, and fuel; and -- that the Library understand that Village streets take precedence over the Library lot during heavy snow storms.
