Womer, CHICAGO TRIBUNE ELK GROVE EXCHANGE The consensus of the Committee was to schedule the Village Board's appearance on the Elk Grove Exchange for Thursday, August 3, at 7:00 p.m. PARADE SIGNAGE AND OVERWEIGHT VEHICLES The consensus of the Committee was to allow signs to be posted in parkways, and overweight vehicles on residential streets in conjunction with the Village Parade on August 6, 1995. - 2 - LANDMEIER ROAD SIDEWALK The consensus of the Committee was as follows: -- to install 5-foot sidewalk on the south side of Landmeier Road from Ridge Avenue to Woodview Avenue; -- to install 5-foot sidewalk on the north side of Landmeier Road from the Commonwealth Edison right-of-way to the Landmeier Public Works Facility, from Fleetwood to 912 Landmeier Road, and from Perrie Drive to Bonnie Lane; -- to have staff prepare options to fund the sidewalk improvements; and -- to have staff contact Cook County to request a painted pedestrian crosswalk on the Tonne/Landmeier intersection. OVERHEAD ELECTRICAL LINES The consensus of the Committee was to revisit the undergrounding of electrical lines along Cosman. Staff will reissue all previous reports on the undergrounding of those lines to the Village Board. SOLID WASTE SURVEY The consensus of the Committee was to approve the mass mailing of the solid waste survey to 100 firms within the Village. TRUCK PARKING ON TURNER AVENUE The consensus of the Committee was to concur with the JPZ Committee recommendation to prohibit all truck parking on the north side of Turner Avenue between Devon Avenue and Arlington Heights Road. An ordinance will be prepared for adoption at the July 25 Village Board meeting. WATER TERMINATION FOR NON-PAYMENT OF BENSENVILLE PRE-TREATMENT The consensus of the Committee was to send a preliminary reminder notice to delinquent Bensenville pre-treatment customers prior to sending a termination notice. PEER JURY PROGRAM The consensus of the Committee was to have the Police Department institute a Peer Jury Program on a trial basis with the assistance of District #214 . 3 - FUTURE MEETING DATES The consensus of the Committee was as follows: -- to schedule an Executive Session on August 10, 1995 at 6:00 p.m. to discuss various matters of personnel; and -- to schedule a Committee of the Whole Meeting for September 11, 1995 at 6:00 p.m. to discuss the Parental Responsibility Ordinance and Business Liaison Council Focus Group recommendation.
