INDUSTRIAL/COMMERCIAL REVITALIZATION PROGRAM
President Gallitano made a presentation on the need to begin
planning for the revitalization of the industrial commercial
areas of the Village by instituting a telecommunications tax.
Upon further discussion, the consensus of the Committee was to
consider this program as the conceptual plans for the
revitalization program are developed. In addition, the Village
President will be meeting with the Greater O'Hare Association and
Business Liaison Council to discuss the concept .
MAKE-A-DIFFERENCE DAY PROJECT
The consensus of the Committee was to have those members
available on October 28, 1995 (Trustee Czarnik, Trustee Chernick,
Trustee Petri, Trustee Johnson) participate in the
Make-A-Difference Day project selected by the Community Service
Board. The remaining members (President Gallitano, Trustee
Rettberg, Trustee Lissner) will be conducting mock interviews for
Conant, Elk Grove, and Harper College students on November 4,
1995.
