ELEVATED WATER STORAGE TANK - ZIRKO FARM
The consensus of the Committee was to have the Plan
Commission review the location of the water tower site in
conjunction with the hearings on the annexation and rezoning of
the site.
CABLE TELEVISION FRANCHISE RENEWAL
The consensus of the Committee was to hold a public hearing
on the franchise renewal on February 15 at 7 p.m.
CABLE TELEVISION RATE REGULATION
The consensus of the Committee was to concur with the Cable
Group should they decide to hire a consultant .
COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL RECYCLING
The consensus of the Committee was the following:
-- draft an ordinance requiring scavengers to offer
recycling services for commercial and industrial clients
as outlined in the Recycling Committee report dated
December 14, 1993.

-- present the recycling concept to the Business Liaison
Council for their input; and,
-- prepare a recycling seminar through SWANCC for
commercial and industrial areas in the Village.
RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE TEPA ENHANCED INSPECTION AND
MAINTENANCE PROGRAM
The consensus of the Committee was to adopt the resolution at
the 1111193 Village Board Meeting and fax the resolution to our
State Representatives and Senators.
CRA NEWSLETTER ARTICLES
The consensus of the Committee was to include CRA theme
articles in upcoming editions of the Elk Grove Villager.
VICTORIA BANQUETS
The consensus of the Committee was to have Victoria Banquets
provide the Village with a list of contract terms for an
agreement and discuss this item after it has been reviewed by
Staff.
IN-HOME DAY CARE ORDINANCE
The consensus of the Committee was to concur with the
recommendation of the JPZ Committee and adopt the proposed
ordinance at the 1111/94 Village Board meeting.
PECORA PROPERTY REZONING
The Village President advised the Committee of the Cook
County public hearing to rezone the Pecora property from R-5
(residential) to C-6 (Commercial) . The hearing will be held on
January 21 at 3 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Municipal
Complex.
TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE
President Gallitano indicated that he is examining the need
to establish a committee of residents that would address
transportation issues.

TWICE AS NICE - SIGN VARIATION
The Village President advised the Committee that a company in
Elk Grove, "Twice As Nice", will be requesting a sign variation
from the Zoning Ordinance.
